Cole joined McGuireWoods Consulting’s Washington, D.C. office in June 2018 and is an assistant vice president in the Federal Public Affairs group.

Prior to joining McGuireWoods, he served as a Senior Consultant for Management Strategies as a contractor in the Office of Communications and Legislative Affairs, Executive Office for Immigration Review, Department of Justice. He was responsible for assisting federal staff with research, Congressional correspondence and inquiries, and media inquiries.

Cole previously served as a legislative assistant to Representative Kerry Bentivolio (R-MI) in his Capitol Hill office. He was responsible for an extensive legislative portfolio, including foreign affairs, agriculture, energy, natural resources and environment, and human rights.

Cole graduated from Fort Hays State University (FHSU) with a degree in political science. During his time at FHSU, he was president of the College Republicans and worked on the field staff of a Congressional campaign. He is pursuing a Master of Public Policy degree at George Mason University.
