Andrew’s practice focuses on financial services litigation, primarily representing lenders in mortgage related lawsuits. He represents financial institutions in a wide range of litigation matters including defending claims brought under the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act, the Truth-in-Lending Act, the Federal Debt Collection Practices Act, the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and various state consumer protection statutes.
Andrew also has experience leading internal investigations and assisting companies with internal compliance with rules and regulations issued by federal banking regulators and other government agencies.
Before joining McGuireWoods, Andrew worked for Virginia based civil litigation firms and focused his practice on insurance defense and general civil litigation matters. He has also provided strategic communications assistance to various political campaigns across the United States.
During law school, he interned at the Virginia State Corporation Commission’s Office of General Counsel and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission’s Office of Enforcement. He was a member of the moot court executive board and trial advocacy board.
