Gina C. LeBlanc Associate

Gina focuses her practice on labor and employment law. She represents employers before state and federal courts and administrative agencies on various employment matters including claims of discrimination and retaliation, violations of non-compete agreements, misappropriation of trade secrets, and wage and hour laws.

Gina has experience handling cases under Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), and the Uniform Trade Secrets Act (UTSA).  Gina also advises employers on issues related to employment agreements, handbooks, workplace policies, separation agreements, severance packages, employee discipline and terminations, compliance with federal and state employment laws, and data privacy and security standards. She holds the CIPP/US credential as a Certified Information Privacy Professional from the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP).

Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Gina was in-house legal counsel for a Fortune 500 global enterprise technology company where she represented clients on a broad range of commercial and employment matters in state and federal jurisdictions across the United States.

In law school, Gina was an articles editor on the First Amendment Law Review, and a member of the Holderness Moot Court team. Before attending law school, Gina worked for the U.S. Department of Justice in the Civil Rights Division.
