With a career spanning more than 20 years, Julie’s background is comprised of working in-house for pharmaceutical companies and professional medical associations, and at a global law firm in senior leadership roles.
Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Julie was counsel in the health law / FDA group at an international law firm where she oversaw legal matters for pharmacies and pharmacy benefits management services, pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies, wholesale distributors and manufacturers, physician practices and hospital systems. Advise clients on all aspects of the legal issues and implications of the COVID-19 pandemic including hospital and healthcare operations, medical and pharmaceutical supply, and FDA approval and guidances for tests, PPE and other supplies.
Served as in-house legal counsel for a global company with a focus on government, regulatory, and compliance issues. Provided oversight of all domestic and international legal matters for five portfolio companies including FDA, health care, pharmacy benefits law, labor and employment law and commercial and technology agreements.
