Rebecca focuses her practice on management-side employment and traditional labor matters. Rebecca defends employers against individual and class actions involving claims under Title VII, Section 1981, the FMLA, the FLSA, and other federal and state discrimination and wage and hour laws. She also has experience assisting with investigations involving sensitive legal matters and advising employers on employment agreements, policies and handbooks, and compliance with state and federal employment laws.

Rebecca maintains an active pro bono practice. She has filed expungement petitions for a client through Maryland Volunteer Lawyers Services and has assisted with an investigation for a nonprofit organization. She also is active in her community and regularly volunteers at Baltimore City Teen Court.

Before joining the firm, Rebecca clerked for the Honorable Patrick L. Woodward on the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland. She graduated cum laude from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law and received the William P. Cunningham Award for exceptional achievement.

During law school, Rebecca was a Notes and Comments Editor for the Maryland Law Review, a member of the Executive Board for the Alternative Dispute Resolution Team, and president of Baltimore Outreach for Student Success where she facilitated a mentoring program for Baltimore City youth.
