Andrew S. Maryan Associate

Andrew Maryan serves as a strategic advisor to project sponsors, investors and financiers in all aspects of the acquisition, disposition, development and financing of power, oil and gas, renewable energy and infrastructure projects.

Andrew has led projects in various stages of development from initial bid, through financial close and into commercial operation. In addition to advising clients on the financing arrangements for these projects, he has experience with power purchase agreements, engineering procurement and construction agreements, long-term supply agreements, and operation and maintenance agreements. Andrew also has experience advising on corporate matters including joint ventures and mergers and acquisitions.

Prior to joining the firm, Andrew was a managing member of an independent sponsor focused on making investments in the lower/middle private market as well as an attorney in the Houston, Texas office of an Am Law 100 firm.

Experience

Representation of a renewable energy developer in a $76 million term loan to finance the acquisition of six wind projects in California, Pennsylvania and West Virginia.

Representation of a development, investment and operating company focused on power generation, electric transmission and energy infrastructure in the sale of a Mid-Atlantic retail electricity-related service provider.

Representation of a financial institution as administrative agent in revolving credit facility related to the acquisition of oil and gas assets.*

Representation of an investment group in a $385 million structured equity investment in a 250 MW photovoltaic solar power generation facility located in Nevada.*

Representation of a financial institution as administrative agent in a syndicated aggregation facility secured by an interest in a revolving pool of distributed solar projects.*

Representation of a financial institution as administrative agent in a revolving credit facility related to the acquisition of oil and gas assets by a major private equity fund portfolio company.*

Representation of a sponsor on matters related to the financing and structured equity investment of a 200 MW wind project in Texas.*
