Cristina Margarit joined McGuireWoods Consulting's international government relations team in 2018 as a public affairs coordinator.

For the past 10 years, Cristina was engaged in a similar role and gained extensive experience in parliamentary procedures, specific legislative techniques of the Romanian Parliament and EU decision-making process. She specialized in healthcare, food and beverage, gambling and oil and gas.

Prior to joining the firm, Cristina provided assistance in the management of various industry associations, such as the Foreign Investors Council (FIC) and Romanian Association of International Drug Manufactures (ARPIM), where she developed a series of key skills that enabled her to handle complex matters.

In her current capacity, Cristina is responsible for coordinating government relations and legislative efforts. Due to her previous background, she successfully represents private sector clients in the areas of healthcare, pharmaceuticals, food and beverage and financial services.

Cristina holds a Bachelor of Law from Hyperion University, Bucharest, a B.A. in Economics from the Bucharest University of Economic Studies and a M.A. in Project Management from the Ecological University of Bucharest.
