Alicia’s practice focuses on business litigation in state and federal courts. She works closely with clients and advises them throughout all stages of their case, including pre-litigation disputes and negotiations, discovery, trial, and appeals. Alicia has experience drafting dispositive motions, completing written discovery, taking and defending depositions, arguing motions, and drafting appellate briefs.

Alicia previously served as a law clerk to the Honorable Chief Justice S. Bernard Goodwyn of the Supreme Court of Virginia. She also has experience as an adjunct law professor at the University of Richmond School of Law, teaching an elective writing class for law students interested in becoming law clerks.

Alicia earned her JD from the University of Virginia School of Law, where she participated in the Appellate Litigation Clinic. Through her work with the clinic, Alicia gained experience briefing and arguing a case before the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, ultimately obtaining a favorable outcome for the client. During law school, Alicia also served as a legal writing fellow.
