Monique Peña Associate

Monique practices within the firm's healthcare department and advises clients on a broad range of transactional, regulatory, and compliance matters including the Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, HIPAA compliance, state licensure laws, corporate practice of medicine doctrines, Medicare and Medicaid participation, and regulatory due diligence.

Monique also handles healthcare and corporate transactional matters for her clients, representing hospitals, home health agencies, hospices, durable medical equipment suppliers, medical device manufacturers, pharmacies, and other life science clients in mergers and acquisitions.

Monique received her law degree from the University of Oklahoma College of Law. While in law school, Monique attended a legal studies program at the University of Oxford in England. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of New Mexico, where she graduated magna cum laude.
