Tess focuses her practice on financial services litigation. Prior to law school, Tess worked in global health and sanitation technology development. Additionally, she managed sanitation development projects for Tri-EHI at the NASA Ames Research Center.
In law school, Tess was executive editor of the Duke Environmental Law and Policy Forum and represented various clients through the Duke Environmental Law and Policy Clinic. Tess was also a summer associate at the North Carolina Attorney General’s Office.
An active member of her community, Tess volunteers at the Interfaith Food Shuttle Camden Street Community Garden and the Red Cross. Tess is also an active member of the Alpha Gamma Delta Alumni chapter.
Representation of a local non-profit in front of various local government bodies, in pursuit of enacting a new city ordinance.
