Addison focuses his practice on helping businesses navigate complex disputes with their insurance carriers. He represents companies in various types of insurance claims, including cyber, property damage, business interruption, and other lines of coverage.
Addison earned his law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law, where he received a full-tuition scholarship from the Chick-Fil-A Foundation. Addison also served as the executive managing editor for the Georgia Journal of International & Comparative Law, member of the Davenport-Benham chapter of the Black Law Students Association, Georgia Law Moot Court Board, and the Georgia Law Appellate Litigation Clinic, where he was one of the first law students to appear before the Georgia Supreme Court in Williams v. DeKalb Cnty., et al., 308 Ga. 265 (2020). Before joining McGuireWoods, Addison served as a Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Marc T. Treadwell, Chief District Judge for the Middle District of Georgia.
Addison earned his Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Management from Troy University and his Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Alabama.
