Alexander J. Toney Associate

Alex defends businesses and employers in state and federal court across the country. He routinely argues dispositive motions and also represents his clients in arbitration proceedings.

Alex relies on his background as a clerk for the Supreme Court of Texas to advise his clients from the first hearing to the final appeal.


First-chaired fraud case and won a unanimous verdict on every question presented, including questions awarding punitive damages, statutory damages, and attorneys’ fees.

Successfully argued consolidated response to five motions to dismiss in a securities fraud case, as well as a special supplemental hearing on those motions.

Defeated appeals after requests for briefing in the United States Supreme Court, the Fifth Court of Appeals, and the Supreme Court of Texas.
