Joscelyn focuses her practice on complex commercial and product liability litigation representing businesses in a variety of industries. She has experience in all phases of litigation at the trial level before state and federal courts, including drafting pleadings, discovery and non-dispositive motions. She also has experience with counseling and representing clients in connection with government and internal investigations.
Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Joscelyn worked at international law firm in Washington, D.C. Joscelyn earned her JD from the University of North Carolina School of Law. While in law school, she was a law clerk in the Office of Chief Counsel for the U.S. Department of Transportation (Federal Highway Administration) where she worked on broad range of legal issues pertaining to the Freedom of Information Act, Suspension & Debarment, employment law, government contracts, and environmental law. Additionally, Joscelyn was a staff member for the First Amendment Law Review and served as the vice president of the Black Law Students Association. She was also a member of Holderness Moot Court and received the Gressman-Pollitt Award for Outstanding Oral Advocacy.
