Victoria Young is a vice president of state government relations at McGuireWoods Consulting. With more than a decade of experience in federal and state government affairs, Victoria is adept at helping her clients achieve their legislative and business goals.
In her role, Victoria assists clients with matters before the Virginia General Assembly and other state agencies as well as before Congress and the executive branch. She works on a variety of state and federal policy issues, focusing on education, transportation, and agriculture. As a member of McGuireWoods Consulting’s national education team, Victoria provides in-depth policy analysis, including legislative tracking, and strategic advice on education issues across all 50 states.
Victoria also has experience advising clients on manufacturing, international trade, immigration, and agriculture issues at the federal level. She has worked with coalitions and trade associations and led several grassroots initiatives to advance her clients’ goals.
Victoria graduated from the University of Virginia with a degree in government. She resides in Richmond, VA, with her husband and son.
