On December 17, Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe released his proposed budget for 2016-2018. Included in his $109 billion spending plan is a proposed $2.43 billion bond package aimed at research and economic development-related projects. The package is coupled with revenue bonds and cash to fund the governor’s capital priorities.
