ECOA’s 23rd Annual Ethics & Compliance Conference

March 19, 2015

Dallas, TX

Partner Robert Bittman spoke on the topic “Implementing Compliance Action Plans: Lessons Learned from a One-Year Plan,” at this event hosted by the Ethics and Compliance Officer Association. A compliance plan provides a framework for a company to manage its program in comparison to industry best practices and prepare that program for tomorrow. The speakers shared practice tips for the development and execution of such plans based on a description of BlackBerry’s experience in 2014, which included risks from reorganization and business conducted by foreign offices. The presentation touched on topics including codes of conduct, risk assessment, monitoring and evaluation, and response to critical issues. For additional information, please visit www.theecoa.org.
