McGuireWoods lawyers Kae Gruner and Cori Hockman will be speaking on the topic “In the Weeds: The Crossover Between Intellectual Property and Cannabis” at this event hosted by the NCBA Intellectual Property Law Section. Associate Sarah Wesley Wheaton is assisting in program planning.
The program will address the protection of IP rights for cannabis, COVID vaccines and student athletes. Participants will also hear firsthand from the Secretary of State’s Office about the agency’s integral role in protecting IP and capital in North Carolina.
