McGuireWoods partner Doug Foley (Restructuring and Insolvency, Norfolk) was recently quoted on pages 46-48 in the Congressional Research Service, a report prepared for members and committees of Congress. The report, “U.S. Motor Vehicle Industry: Federal Financial Assistance Restructuring,” was submitted to Congress in evaluating the fate of government involvement in the auto industry. It provides a good history of the nuances of the auto industry and their insolvency.
