NPR Broadcasts Interview with Trent Taylor on Landmark Climate Change Lawsuit and More

June 9, 2010

NPR broadcast an interview with partner Trent Taylor on its “All Things Considered” feature on June 8. The interview includes Trent’s views on the 5th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals landmark climate change lawsuit. Trent says similar recusals may also be an issue at the U.S. Supreme Court in hearing an appeal by plaintiffs in Comer v. Murphy Oil, which alleges that the activities of numerous oil, coal and chemical companies contributed to climate change and magnified the effects of Hurricane Katrina. He also discusses the oil spill litigation in the Gulf of Mexico. Trent’s story was posted as a legal update on McGuireWoods website, and later published on Law360 and in The Wall Street Journal‘s Law Blog.
