Christian Nagel during his live appearance Wednesday, Jan. 6, 2016, on Fox News discussing the trial of U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl.
Fox News interviewed McGuireWoods senior counsel Christian Nagel on the pending trial of U.S. Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl. Nagel, who served for 12 years on active duty and as a reservist in the U.S. Marine Corps, was deployed to Afghanistan when the Taliban captured Bergdahl after he allegedly abandoned his post. Nagel’s tours included stints as a Special Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia as the Officer-in-Charge of the Quantico Legal Assistance Office, and as a military prosecutor.
Nagel is a leading member of the McGuireWoods government contracts litigation team, and is one of numerous McGuireWoods attorneys with national security experience. The McGuireWoods Defense and Government Contracts Industry Team is led by a former Navy pilot, and includes attorneys who previously served as a member of the Army special operations community, a Department of Defense litigation attorney, and the former head of DOJ’s National Security Division.
