Michael Anzelmo’s move to McGuireWoods and McGuireWoods Consulting was the focus of Bloomberg Environment’s Oct. 21 “Legal Spotlight.”
Anzelmo joined the firm as an energy regulatory partner and policy advisor in Columbia, South Carolina. He previously served as chief of staff and counsel to South Carolina House of Representatives Speaker James H. “Jay” Lucas. He told Bloomberg Environment that he will provide strategic and policy advice to clients dealing with the legislature or state agencies.
“The market is changing rapidly as technology, power usage, regulations and environmental policy evolve,” Anzelmo said. “I think my background in government, law and public policy can help clients navigate regulatory challenges.”
