McGuireWoods LLP announced that IP Law & Business, a sister publication of the American Lawyer, has recognized the firm’s IP Litigation/Patents practice as one of the “Top Guardians of the IP Nest.” The listing, which was published in the most recent issue of the magazine, is based on a survey of Business Week‘s 50 most innovative companies.
Nationwide, only 23 law firms were named to the list, now in its second year. According to the survey, McGuireWoods was listed by five of the companies surveyed as a “go-to” firm in one of four IP categories. Specifically, McGuireWoods was selected for its copyright, patent and trademark work.
