McGuireWoods LLP announced today that a team of attorneys from the firm’s Health Care Group represented Rush North Shore Health Services in connection with a definitive merger agreement with Evanston Northwestern Healthcare Corporation. The merger, valued at approximately $160 million, was signed on Tuesday, July 15, and is now awaiting regulatory approvals.
James B. Riley, Jr., a partner in the firm’s Health Care Group in Chicago, led the McGuireWoods team on this matter. Other members of the McGuireWoods team included partners Scott Downing, Richard Rappaport and Kara Friedman, as well as associates Ryan Higgins, Elizabeth Bedore Campbell and Brent Justus.
