McGuireWoods LLP announced today its sponsorship of Richmond’s Welcome Home Parade in honor of returning Iraq War veterans to be held on Armed Forces Day, Saturday, May 19, 2012. The parade will be followed by a free outdoor concert and a veterans’ resource exposition.
The parade will begin at the intersection of North Boulevard and Kensington Avenue at 10 a.m. and will end at the Carillon in Byrd Park, where McGuireWoods lawyers will volunteer pro bono legal counsel to veterans regarding landlord-tenant issues, family law, basic criminal and civil issues, employment issues and other legal matters. The Veterans’ Resource Village will be open at the Carillon from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
