With more than two decades in AmLaw and in-house leadership roles, he brings pragmatic, business-focused counsel to structuring and closing complex deals for high-growth and global companies.
Naris regularly negotiates master services agreements, software licenses, SaaS and cloud services, managed services, strategic alliances, reseller and distribution arrangements, statements of work, and data and cybersecurity contracts with Fortune 500 clients and key partners. He also counsels on enterprise data privacy and cybersecurity compliance, intellectual property strategy, AI governance, marketing and advertising, and employment matters across jurisdictions. He has designed global GDPR/CCPA programs and frameworks for responsible use of generative AI, including governance for data handling, IP ownership, bias mitigation, and regulatory risk management, and supports M&A diligence and integration, corporate governance, and disputes.
Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Naris served as general counsel and corporate secretary of a leading digital consultancy and held senior legal roles at a global professional services firm. Clients value his practical, solution-oriented approach and ability to move complex matters to closure. His experience spans digital consulting, information technology services, cybersecurity, financial services, healthcare, and retail.
