Sean’s practice focuses on corporate law with an emphasis on M&A and private equity transactions. He has extensive experience advising private equity sponsors and multinational companies in a wide range of domestic and cross-border acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and other complex strategic transactions.
Sean regularly counsels clients across the full transaction lifecycle—from initial structuring and diligence through negotiation, execution, and post-closing integration. He has represented buyers, sellers, portfolio companies, and management teams across a variety of industries, including industrial/manufacturing, technology, consumer goods and financial services.
In addition to his transactional work, Sean provides ongoing corporate counseling on general governance matters.
Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Sean practiced at an international law firm in New York and in-house at a leading venture-backed e-commerce consumer products aggregator.
