Abdul is a seasoned trial lawyer with experience shaped by more than 30 years of navigating complex disputes as both a lawyer and a federal district court judge. Before his judicial tenure, Abdul was a partner in private practice focusing on general litigation and labor and employment counseling. He maintained a robust trial practice before arbitrators and courts. He served as first chair in multiple federal jury trials and delivered results in high-stakes matters. He also advised boards of directors and executives in sensitive internal and governmental investigations.
