Carly is a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation team, and she focuses her practice on intellectual property matters, with an emphasis on trademarks, trade dress, copyrights, patents, unfair competition, unfair trade practices, false advertising, Uniform Domain Name Dispute Resolutions (UDRP), and trade secrets.

Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Carly completed a two-year clerkship in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina with The Honorable Robert B. Jones, Jr.

In law school, Carly was a member of the William & Mary National Trial Team and a notes editor for the William & Mary Law Review. She graduated summa cum laude, was inducted into the Order of the Coif, and received the ABA-BNA Award for Excellence in the Study of Intellectual Property Law.
