As McGuireWoods’ chief information officer, Chris manages the planning, development and integration of technology systems throughout the firm. He also works with senior leaders to align IT strategy with the firm’s business goals.
Chris joined McGuireWoods as chief technology officer in 2013. He managed a team of 70 professionals and oversaw the firm’s IT budget to ensure technology initiatives advanced the firm’s business priorities and supported innovation, efficiency and client service. He collaborated with the firm’s AI and innovation team on the integration of emerging technologies, led a data governance initiative that reduced high-risk file exposures and helped scale the firm’s remote work capabilities during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Before coming to McGuireWoods, Chris held senior roles at an Am Law 50 firm and Huron Consulting Group, leading IT teams in the legal, healthcare and higher education sectors.
