Monica is a lawyer in the firm’s Chicago office who focuses on civil antitrust litigation, government investigations, and white collar litigation. She has represented a variety of clients, including universities and publicly traded companies, in their matters with the DOJ and before Congress. She also has experience representing clients in their class action defense.
Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Monica externed with the Honorable Sheila M. Finnegan, United States Magistrate Judge for the Northern District of Illinois. She attended Vanderbilt Law School, where she served as executive director of the Legal Aid Society and as an editor for the Vanderbilt Journal of Entertainment and Technology Law. She was also published in the University of Michigan Journal of Law Reform These accomplishments honed her leadership, editorial judgment, and advocacy skills in service-oriented and scholarly settings alike.
