Gregg provides management and strategic guidance for McGuireWoods’ information technology as a senior advisor to firm leadership. As the firm’s chief information officer for 15 years, he has been responsible for the planning, development, service delivery and operations of effective technology throughout the enterprise to serve clients and achieve the firm’s business plans.
Prior to joining McGuireWoods, he solved technology challenges as CIO of Huron Consulting Group LLC and of SeatonCorp, and served in senior information technology leadership roles at Boise Cascade / OfficeMax, Alltel and Sprint.
He earned his undergraduate degree in accountancy from Northern Illinois University in DeKalb, and his MBA in information systems from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University in Chicago. He also is a registered CPA.
Gregg is chair of the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Business Information Systems Program Advisory Board, a member of the International Legal Technology Association G100 CIO Board and served as a board member of the Richmond United Way.
