Andrew advises clients on contentious multi-jurisdictional regulatory issues, including regulatory investigations and prosecutions, the U.K. Bribery Act and other white collar crime matters involving global fraud and corruption.
Before joining McGuireWoods, Andrew worked in the London office of an international law firm, and then as Assistant General Counsel for a Fortune Global 500, in Geneva and London, where he focused on global regulatory matters. This background has given him first-hand and in-depth experience in assessing and managing regulatory risks, running internal investigations, responding to and engaging with regulators in respect of UK/EU legislative proposals, and dealing with regulatory enquiries, investigations and prosecutions.
Andrew’s front-line exposure to crisis management enables him to help clients put in place and maintain compliance practices, policies and procedures, and then deal with sensitive matters should they arise.
He has also advised on an array of product safety/liability issues, complex commercial litigation, and public law matters including judicial reviews.
