Kyle focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, private equity transactions, and general corporate governance matters.
Prior to joining the firm, Kyle was an associate at a Charlotte-based law firm and practiced within a broad range of finance-related areas, focusing on the representation of institutional investors, small business investment companies (SBICs), private equity groups and sponsors, in their investment, buy-out, and finance transactions.
Kyle earned his B.A. in Economics with Politics & International Affairs from Wake Forest University and his J.D. from Wake Forest University School of Law. Prior to law school, Kyle spent a year as a University Fellow, working on various contractual matters in the Wake Forest Athletics Department with a primary focus on coaches’ contracts and game-guarantee contracts.
As a visiting J.D. student at Notre Dame Law School in 2021, Kyle continued his work in collegiate athletics as a legal extern with Notre Dame Athletics and as a volunteer assistant coach of the Notre Dame Varsity Swimming Team.
