Regina’s practice focuses primarily on healthcare transactional and regulatory matters for a variety of healthcare providers. Regina’s clients include multi-hospital health systems, academic medical centers, medical practices, physician management companies, and addiction treatment providers.

Regina is well versed in numerous legal challenges faced by healthcare providers and has assisted clients with issues related to investigational research involving human subjects, medical staff bylaws, clinical integration initiatives, multi-state telehealth practice, and HIPAA Privacy and Security rules.

Regina regularly provides guidance on numerous aspects of healthcare compliance, including assisting providers with internal investigations, provider license and certification matters, compliance with state corporate practice of medicine law/regulations, reimbursement and overpayment investigations/demands, and provider scope of practice issues.

Regina also assists clients in various aspects of healthcare operations, including the development and implementation of effective compliance programs, implementation of strategic initiatives, remediation of HIPAA breaches, Stark and Anti-Kickback compliance, and Medicare disenrollment appeals.

Regina’s practice also focuses on negotiating physician practice acquisitions and hospital mergers.
