Upon merging with the Chicago law firm Gordon & Glickson LLC in January 2006, we greatly expanded our technology and business capabilities not only in Chicago, but in all the markets we serve. Gordon & Glickson has been exclusively devoted to providing strategic legal counsel to the technology markets for 25 years, advising clients in the technology-based sectors, and providing legal counsel on technology-related issues to clients in all other industries, to governments and to not-for-profit organizations.

In July 2003, with the addition of the Ross & Hardies law firm, we became one of the largest labor and employment law firms in the country. In addition to health care, litigation, mass tort, and labor and employment, we have strong capabilities in Chicago in securities and other corporate finance matters, international issues, mergers and acquisitions, bankruptcy, environmental, and intellectual property. A number of our employee benefits lawyers are located here, and they concentrate on delivering comprehensive and sophisticated solutions regarding compensation arrangements, employee benefit plans, fiduciary issues and investments to clients.

The Commercial Litigation as well as the Complex Products Liability and Mass Tort Litigation Departments regularly represent clients in various types of complex commercial and products liability litigation, and advise clients on litigation prevention techniques. Our real estate practice encompasses all aspects of real estate development, financing, land use and leasing. The affordable housing finance practice in our Real Estate Department is one of the largest and most innovative in the country, representing clients who are developing or investing in properties financed by federal low income and historic tax credits. The corporate services group focuses on solving problems faced by clients engaged in major securities offerings and the financing of mergers, acquisitions, dispositions and spin-offs. Our financial services lawyers focus on structuring, negotiating, and consummating complex business transactions for banking and financial institution clients.
