McGuireWoods LLP has partnered with Working Mother magazine to provide a seminar entitled “The Search for Work/Life Balance.” The successful seminars already have been held in Richmond, Va., and Charlotte, N.C. A third one will be held in Chicago in September.
McGuireWoods is the first law firm to partner with Working Mother to offer work/balance seminars. The program provides career women in leadership roles with time management advice, leadership examples and a workshop where attendees can create a plan for creating personal work/life balance.
Carol Evans, founder and chief executive officer of Working Mother, is the keynote speaker for all three seminars. McGuireWoods was one of 50 law firms selected in 2007 for the inaugural list in Working Mother magazine of “Best Law Firms for Women Lawyers” (see earlier release).
