McGuireWoods Names New Office Managing Partner in Baltimore

McGuireWoods LLP announced today that Ava Lias-Booker, a partner in the Complex Commercial Litigation Department, has been named the new office managing partner of the firm’s Baltimore office. She takes over for partner Alan Cason, who was recently promoted to chair of the firm’s Public Finance Department.

As office managing partner, Lias-Booker will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Baltimore office while maintaining an active practice as she leads the Baltimore litigation practice group. She represents businesses and other entities in complex commercial and civil litigation in state and federal courts. Her clients are from a broad range of industries, including financial, retail and telecommunications. She has more than 20 years of experience litigating and resolving disputes to support her clients’ strategic objectives.
