The Bond Buyer, a daily publication covering the municipal bond industry, recently ranked McGuireWoods LLP as the No. 1 bond counsel firm in Virginia. For the second straight year, the firm was also ranked No. 3 in the Southeast region of the United States, with 49 issues and an aggregate par amount of $2.4 billion in 2011.
