At its 2012 Annual Meeting on June 22, the North Carolina Bar Association gave its Dr. I. Beverly Lake Public Service Award to Charlotte counsel Larry J. Dagenhart. The association’s highest recognition for service outside the profession itself recognizes “an attorney role model whose career exemplifies public service to the community in which he or she has practiced law.”
