Noreen Kelly, McGuireWoods’ deputy managing partner for litigation, has been selected a Managing Partner of the Year finalist for the 2025 Women, Influence & Power Awards by Corporate Counsel, an American Lawyer Media publication.
Kelly is among 10 managing partners “whose achievements over the past year have set her apart as an influential and inspiring leader in the legal profession,” according to Corporate Counsel. Winners will be announced at an awards dinner on Oct. 7 in Washington, D.C.
Kelly represents financial institutions, broker-dealers, investment advisers and other businesses facing regulatory and criminal investigations and significant litigation risk.
Since joining McGuireWoods in 2014, she has held multiple leadership roles at the firm. She served as managing partner of McGuireWoods’ New York office, helped establish the firm’s cross-practice financial institutions industry team, and chaired the nationally recognized Government Investigations & White Collar Litigation Department before being appointed deputy managing partner in 2024.
In her current role, Kelly oversees and manages the firm’s litigation departments, which comprise more than 500 attorneys. Over the past year, she has recruited more than two dozen lateral partners to the firm’s litigation practices — including three former U.S. attorneys and a prominent insurance recovery team.
“It is an honor to be included with the distinguished lawyers selected for these awards,” Kelly said. “I am grateful to my McGuireWoods colleagues for their camaraderie and support and for the opportunity to serve in leadership roles across the firm.”
