McGuireWoods Earns Top Rankings in 2025 Capital Markets League Tables

McGuireWoods once again ranked among the leading law firms advising corporate issuers in capital markets transactions in 2025, as reflected in the year-end league tables published by Bloomberg and the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG). The firm achieved high rankings across a range of categories, underscoring its continued strength and depth in capital markets representation.

McGuireWoods placed among the top firms in the following categories in Bloomberg’s Global Legal Advisers league tables:

  • ninth in proceeds and 12th in deal count for U.S. investment grade corporate bonds issuer advisers;
  • eighth in proceeds and 10th in deal count for global bonds issuer advisers; and
  • 12th in proceeds and 15th in deal count for U.S. corporate bonds issuer advisers.

In LSEG’s Global Capital Markets Review, the firm placed among the top law firms advising issuers in the following categories:

  • 13th in proceeds and fourth in deal count for U.S. straight debt excluding asset-backed securities (ABS) and mortgage-backed securities (MBS);
  • ninth in deal count for U.S. straight debt including ABS and MBS;
  • ninth in deal count and 17th in proceeds for U.S. debt, equity and equity-related transactions;
  • ninth in deal count and 18th in proceeds for global straight debt excluding ABS and MBS;
  • 15th in deal count and 23rd in proceeds for global debt, equity and equity-related transactions; and
  • 12th in deal count for global straight debt including ABS and MBS.
