Josh is an associate in McGuireWoods’ New York office, where he focuses on high-stakes, complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution, including matters involving insurance recovery issues that arise in large-scale business disputes. He represents clients across a wide range of industries in state and federal courts, as well as in alternative dispute resolution forums.

Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Josh practiced at a national litigation boutique, where he concentrated on complex commercial and regulatory disputes and served on trial teams in several high-profile matters.

Josh earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. He also holds a Bachelor of Science and an MBA in Finance from St. John’s University, where he was a member of the NCAA Division I men’s soccer team.

  • Represented a nonprofit organization with over five million members in an insurance-coverage dispute under a Directors and Officers policy for claims arising from a series of underlying lawsuits alleging fraud and state regulatory violations, and seeking corporate dissolution.
  • Representation of corporate policyholder under an Errors and Omissions policy in connection with claims alleging professional negligence, regulatory violations, and related misconduct.
