Prior to joining McGuireWoods, Sydney clerked for Chief Judge Virginia Kendall of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois, drafting judicial opinions on employment discrimination, breach of contract, and fiduciary duty cases. She also gained valuable experience at a multinational law firm in Chicago as a litigation associate, managing written advocacy and discovery for high-stakes commercial litigation, defamation, and product liability cases.
