Stephanie A. Martinez Associate

Stephanie advises clients in intellectual property and marketing matters across a range of industries. She manages worldwide intellectual property portfolios, including trademark clearance, prosecution, maintenance, licensing and enforcement. Stephanie also works closely with her clients on advertising and marketing matters, including sweepstakes, contests and promotions, disclaimers, claim substantiation and advertisement review and clearance.

Stephanie brings to her practice prior litigation experience, allowing her to foresee potential litigation concerns at the earliest stages in transactional matters. She uses this experience to advise her clients of short-term and long-term risks associated with their intellectual property portfolios.

Stephanie earned her juris doctor from University of Richmond School of Law. While there, she served as an Articles Editor for the University of Richmond Law Review. Stephanie is the current President of the Greater Richmond Intellectual Property Law Association.

Advised on intellectual property due diligence for asset purchase agreement.

Represented international company in its business claims against a former employee.
