Charlotte’s real estate practice includes representing clients ranging from multinational Fortune 20 companies to local companies with respect to complex real estate matters on a national basis. She has extensive experience working with the real estate needs of institutional property owners, including national and international financial institutions, a publicly traded national retailer, telecommunications companies and automotive manufacturers, for whom she has negotiated and finalized hundreds of commercial leases, licenses and easements, and acquired and disposed of numerous real property assets.

Charlotte serves as outside counsel for a U.S. based global bank as their dedicated West Coast real estate legal counsel negotiating and advising on leases of financial centers, advanced centers and ATMs, renewals, acquisitions, dispositions, easements and zoning matters, negotiation and preparation of leases, subleases, ground leases, amendments, and related documents for all types of real estate matters as well as pre-litigation matters.

Charlotte has also served as outside counsel for a publicly traded national apparel chain in the negotiation of its retail leases, amendments and related agreements, and was instrumental in creating lease workout templates to implement nationwide in response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

Charlotte’s recent transactions include: (i) representing a U.S. based global bank on replacement leases for an office campus of over 540,000 square feet, (ii) a call center lease of over 100,000 square feet for a Fortune 50 company, (iii) numerous leases for bowling and family entertainment centers for locations throughout the US, with each one containing between 25,000 to 50,000 square feet, (iv) an office and research center lease of over 30,000 square feet for an automotive manufacturer and (v) a retail sublease for a national comedy store chain.
