Networking With Women in Private Equity and Finance

October 19, 2017

New York, NY

5:30 – 7:30 p.m.

McGuireWoods is pleased to build on our Women in Private Equity and Finance Networking Initiative, following our July 13 gathering in Chicago. We enjoyed speaking with you on narrowing the gender gap in private equity and finance. As women striving in all industries, we champion and support the successes of women.

We look forward to connecting with our female colleagues in New York over cocktails and hors d’oeuvres to continue sharing ideas, experiences and successes.

McGuireWoods is dedicated to gathering, advancing and connecting women in private equity and finance. As part of our initiative, we identify opportunities to connect women in our networks nationwide and host events in key cities.

McGuireWoods is excited to announce that Lorine Pendleton — a seasoned business development executive with extensive experience in the legal, technology and entertainment industries — will join us at our New York networking event with women in private equity and finance.

Her numerous honors include being named among the “50 Most Connected Women in America” by Marie Claire, “200 Women of Color to Follow on Twitter” by Medium, and “20 Angel Investors You Should Know” by Black Enterprise. Lorine also has been featured in other publications including Fortune, Fast Company, Huffington Post and Essence.

As an angel investor, Lorine invests in and advises women and diverse-led companies. She is an investment partner in Portfolia Funds, an innovative platform that brings together growth-stage companies and a collaborative network of investors in a unique combination of angel investing and micro-funding; an alumna and member of Pipeline Angels, an angel investing training program for women to become angel investors, thereby increasing diversity in the U.S. angel investing community; and chair of TIGER 21, the premier peer-to-peer learning network for ultra-high-net-worth individuals.
