New York Office Sponsors Pajama Program to Benefit Homeless Children

October 7, 2010

McGuireWoods’ New York office is leading a drive to benefit The Pajama Program, a not-for-profit organization that provides new pajamas and books to children (newborn to age 17) in homeless shelters and foster care in the United States and around the world. Most of the children involved have never owned pajamas and don’t have adults in their lives to read to them.

As part of it’s 10th anniversary, The Pajama Program is spending this fall raising awareness of its services, in the hopes of increasing donations. As a part of “Danger Season” (when it’s cold and children are most vulnerable), McGuireWoods’ New York office is holding a pajama and book drive to benefit the program. The office will also sponsor the program’s upcoming “Sweet Dream’s Benefit” at Dylan’s Candy Bar.
