Mika Brzezinski, New York Times bestselling author and co-host of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” was the featured speaker at a recent Women’s Leadership Forum event in McGuireWoods’ Washington, D.C. Office. More than 100 clients, prospects and McGuireWoods attorneys from Washington, Virginia and Maryland attended to hear Brzezinski discuss her latest book, “Knowing Your Value: Women, Money and Getting What You’re Worth.”
Each attendee received a signed copy of the book in which Brzezinski examines the role of women in the workplace, especially the challenges in gaining recognition and fair compensation. The sister of McGuireWoods partner Mark Brzezinski, she has written two books about issues facing professional women.
