Partner Amy Manning Joins McGuireWoods’ Executive Committee

McGuireWoods LLP announced today that Amy Manning, a partner in the firm’s Chicago office, has been elected to the firm’s eight-member executive committee. She is a member of the Antitrust and Trade Regulation Department and serves on the firm’s board of partners.

“We are delighted that Amy has accepted this responsibility,” said McGuireWoods Chairman Richard Cullen. “She has demonstrated exceptional leadership in her various roles here at McGuireWoods and we believe her experience will greatly serve the firm.”

Manning currently serves as co-leader of the firm’s life sciences industry group, has been co-chair of its national recruiting committee, and is an active member of the firm’s Women’s Leadership Forum. She also serves as a board member for the Institute of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra and as the 2011 vice chair of the American Bar Association, Antitrust Section, Civil Practice and Procedure Committee. She is chair-elect of the American Diabetes Association Board of Chicago. Manning will continue to maintain an active practice concentrated on antitrust disputes, complex commercial litigation, and life sciences matters.
