George Martin Begins Term as Rector at the University of Virginia

George Martin, a partner with the firm and office managing partner of the firm’s Richmond office, was recently installed as the new rector at the University of Virginia, located in Charlottesville, Va. Martin, a 1975 graduate of U.Va., has served on the university’s board of visitors since 2011 and is the first African-American to ever hold the title of rector at the university.
